French balconies
Malmerk Klaasium offers various solutions also for French balconies. There are 5 main type of French balconies we maufacture: glass fixed with clamps, vertical clamp profiles or point-fixings, railing with handrail and pillars and rodrailing.
All profiles used for French balconies are powder coated according to the RAL catalogue. The selection of glasses is also wide – from classic clear, bronze and gray up to even pink tone with laminated glass, if preferred.
FR Nordic – French balcony with glass clamps
This is a solution where safety glass is fixed to the wall with four stainless steel clamps.
FR Line – French balcony with clamp profile
With this solution the glass is fixed to the wall from both sides with vertical clamp profiles.
FR Aero – French balcony with point-fixings
French balcony with point-fixings is the most classic solution used in many modern buildings. Simple and elegant railing consists only of tempered and laminated glass with four holes in it. Through those holes the glass is fixed with stainless steel point-fixings.
FR Standard – French balcony with handrail and pillars
As the name says, this is our standard French balcony solution which basically looks like one module from our glass-aluminium railing. Here glass is fixed with glass profile from top and bottom and upper edge of the glass is covered with a handrail. The railing is attached to the wall through pillars behind the glass.
FR Classic – French balcony with rods
Buildings where are balconies with rod railing, often prefer french balconies also with rod solution. In that case the best is to use FR Classis, where rods are fixed to a profile from top and bottom. The railing is fixed to the wall with the L-profile attached to the pillars on both sides.
